Q: Are tickets required to attend Spooky Zoo?

Nope! This event is free, and all Spooky Zoo activities (which take place from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturday, October 18) are free for everyone. Additional paid rides and activities will be available for guests to enjoy as a part of the zoo's Fall Fest season.

Hosted by the zoo’s Auxiliary Board, Spooky Zoo offers a free, festive, and accessible experience for more than 15,000 Chicago families and children.

The Auxiliary Board is a young professionals group dedicated to raising funds for Chicago's zoo. Members are required to contribute financially to the zoo's Annual Fund, attend quarterly meetings, and participate in the board's events and initiatives.
